There are some icons of skinema who have filmographies as scanty as their clothing–and yet every film’s a classic. Add Michele Norris to the ranks of amazing underachievers such as Jeramie Rain and Vida Taylor. This stunning brunette made an unforgettable debut in the drive-in classic Ginger (1971) as the unfortunate girlfriend of the local crime lord targeted by secret agent Cheri Caffaro. Michele doesn’t take kindly to Cheri’s undercover adventures with her boyfriend. This leads to one of skinema’s sexiest catfights, as Michele is stripped and bound by her own bikini on a chilly beach. Sadly, Michele’s short film career ended that same year, with an unclad cameo as Lee Terri’s lesbian lover in the wild Manson Family rip-off The Love Thrill Murders (1971). She doesn’t get much screen time, but skinema fans still marvel and mourn at the scene where Michele gets out of bed, gets dressed, and leaves Lee–and the camera–behind for good.
